Introduction

Csutomer has a specialized store for all things alcoholic, with a collection that ranges from Craft Beer, Fine Cigars to Spirits and Wines. Based in California, Customer has an online face of Corked Liquor store, which specializes in high-end liquors, with one of the most expansive selections in the state. 

Established in 2016, they have a state-of-the-art walk-through Beer Fridge with over two thousand varieties of beers. They strive to get even the most obscure, or familiar and coveted alcoholic beverages in their Long Beach store for their customers.

Traditionally the client has focused on selling their products to customers through his outlet in California. Though they were one of the largest liquor stores in the country, they never explored the online market. They wanted a functioning, well-integrated and secured website that fits the business size and performances smoothly.

The client wanted a web store that can manage more than 6000 products efficiently without any performance compromises and should be customer friendly. 

Since the client had no website, we had to start from scratch- from layout to theme, everything was discussed and determined as per the client’s vision. Then we set to work. 

First, we decided to operate the web store on Magento 2, owing to its ability to extend the core functionality through third-party extensions and custom development. 

Magento 2 is a far more scalable content management system, and it provides the added bonus of being mobile-friendly. It also allowed us to add advanced SEO elements and security features that helped minimize the risk of any cyber threat.  

After delivery, the website could easily be managed by the store owners without any need for technical expertise. Our UI/UX team redesigned the Magento template to keep the store in line with the brand identity.

Website integration with Authorize.net, one of the world’s fastest and safest payment gateways, allowed the client to accept online payments via credit card or e-check, facilitating an easier monetary transaction. FedEx was incorporated seamlessly to aid in the smooth functioning of the delivery system for orders placed.

A POS integration further allowed customers a seamless omnichannel shopping experience and the team had a 360-degree view of their sales performance and customer journey.  

By integrating his offline and online channels into one POS, he gained a holistic view of his customers and business without the stress of adding up numbers manually.

The website was provided with seamless navigation from page to page considering its target audience. Everything was clearly labeled and linked properly and strategically placed to best achieve their main objective – conversions.

Customer got an eye-catching and convenient e-commerce website representing the full range of its offerings. We made sure to provide an unparalleled and secure shopping experience without compromising on the client’s brand identity. 

The purchase and delivery system was up and running, in sync with their offline store, which enhanced the functionality of the whole operation. Within a month, the client started seeing increase in their sales and visitor count. 

The new website also helped increase brand awareness for Corked Liquor, as connoisseurs of great taste and variety, could now avail themselves of their services from a wider geographical range. With a systematic delivery system in place and an efficient online payment method set up, the website could function with minimum effort from the administrators.
