Project Overview
World Resources Institute (WRI) partnered with Ebizon to enhance their Restoration Monitoring Tools Guide website, aiming to improve accessibility, functionality, and user engagement. The project focused on updating the ToolFinder portal with advanced filtering options, integrating carbon-related restoration monitoring tools, refining content and design, and upgrading the platform from Drupal 9 to Drupal 11. With over a decade of collaboration with WRI, Ebizon leveraged its deep technical expertise to execute these enhancements seamlessly. The initiative aimed to optimize the user experience, enhance compliance with accessibility and security standards, and establish a scalable, future-proof digital infrastructure for WRI’s restoration monitoring efforts.

Project Objectives
- Enhance ToolFinder functionality by integrating 10–20 new carbon monitoring tools and creating a tailored decision tree flow.
- Upgrade the platform from Drupal 9 to Drupal 11, ensuring seamless functionality and module compatibility.

Project Execution
1. Design and Discovery Process
The project began with a comprehensive discovery phase aimed at aligning WRI’s objectives with technical execution. This included understanding the current site’s architecture, mapping out enhancements to the ToolFinder section, and defining requirements for carbon-related restoration monitoring tools.

2. Development and Customization

- A comprehensive training manual covering CMS workflows, tool configuration, and troubleshooting best practices.

After launch, Ebizon delivered 30 days of complimentary support to resolve any issues or bugs. Annual maintenance options were offered, including:

- 60 developer hours annually for enhancements and content support
