Project Overview
CRJ Services operates a content-rich website built on Concrete CMS. As the business expanded, the client sought a more flexible, scalable, and widely supported platform. They selected WordPress as the destination CMS due to its extensive ecosystem and ease of maintenance.
CRJ Services partnered with EbizON to handle the entire data migration process. While the client took responsibility for frontend and functional development, Ebizon ensured the safe and accurate migration of all content assets, preserving SEO value and maintaining structural consistency.

Project Objectives
- Migrate all data from Concrete CMS to WordPress seamlessly.
- Preserve formatting, relationships, custom fields, and taxonomies.
- Maintain existing SEO metadata and URL structures.
- Support the client’s new WordPress development framework.
- Perform incremental migrations to include content added during development.
Project Execution
1. Design and Discovery Process
Ebizon began with an in-depth analysis of the existing Concrete CMS platform.
This phase focused on:
- Identifying all content types, including Case Studies, News, and Machinery.
- Documenting taxonomies, custom fields, and relational structures.
- Understanding content hierarchy, media usage, and URL patterns.
- Reviewing SEO metadata and schema integrations.
This discovery work established a clear blueprint for the migration and the WordPress data architecture.
2. Development and Customization
EbizON prepared the WordPress environment to receive the migrated content.
Key tasks included:
- Creating custom post types and ACF fields aligned with the source data.
- Developing import mappings to ensure each item transferred correctly.
- Setting up a content structure that would integrate smoothly with the client’s frontend development work.
- Creating scripts and workflows for accurate and efficient data transfer.
- Restructured all categories based on the client’s requirements, including new News and Case Studies subcategories.
- Improved the WordPress admin organization for easier content management across all migrated post types.
3. Content Migration to WordPress
A complete migration of all major content sets was performed.
The migrated data included:
- Approximately 40 Case Studies
- Around 100 News articles
- Nearly 50 Machinery items
- All relevant media assets such as images, PDFs, and videos
- Internal links and associated metadata
The team ensured that every piece of content was extracted from Concrete CMS, transformed appropriately, and imported into the correct WordPress post types with accurate relationships and formatting.
4. URL Redirection and SEO Preservation
A major priority was preserving existing SEO equity.
For this purpose, EbizON carefully migrated:
- Meta titles, descriptions, and alt tags
- Canonical tags and Open Graph data
- Structured data elements
- Hreflang attributes
- Existing URL structures
Redirect mappings were created to ensure that old URLs pointed to the correct new WordPress counterparts, preventing ranking loss and improving user experience.
5. Thorough Testing and Quality Assurance
After the import process, Ebizon conducted several rounds of testing to validate the migration.
This included checking:
- Content completeness and accuracy
- Formatting and layout consistency
- Media loading and internal link functionality
- SEO metadata placement
- URL structure integrity
Any issues discovered were documented and resolved before handing the site back to the client.
6. Launch and Ongoing Support
Before final launch, the team performed an incremental migration to include new content added during the development period. This ensured the WordPress website contained the most up-to-date information.
Post-migration, EbizON provided support for:
- SEO validation
- Redirect checks
- Content verification
- Coordination with the client’s frontend team
Results & Feedback
The migration was completed successfully with all content preserved and accurately mapped into WordPress. CRJ Services benefited from improved content management flexibility, better scalability, and an SEO structure that remained intact throughout the process. The new WordPress setup provided a cleaner, more streamlined foundation for future enhancements.
